The following are some of the local favorites worth considering.

Starting with an excursion to the Space Needle is always a good idea when you arrive. This is one of the top local landmarks in Seattle. You can ascend 520 feet to the Observation Deck, which will give you an unparalleled view of the city. You’ll see the Waterfront and the stunning backdrop of mountains, including Mount Rainier. Be sure to make a reservation at SkyCity restaurant, so you can appreciate the panoramic view from the Space Needle as you dine on divine cuisine.
Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market is another Seattle fixture worth visiting. This public market takes up nine acres of valuable real estate in the city’s historic district, and you’ll want to explore every inch of it. Some of the highlights include an impressive farmers market, a crafts market featuring the works of over 200 artisans, and four fish markets. You may also want to browse the shelves of the on-site specialty food shops, and you can dine in one of the bakeries, restaurants or bistros at Pike Place Market, as well as at one of the many takeout counters.
Seattle Art Museum
If you can’t imagine visiting a major city without stopping by its official art museum, then you’ll certainly welcome the opportunity to see the one in Seattle. You may view a variety of exhibitions of varying genres at any given time, including the latest acquisitions. You might want to take advantage of one of the public tours available at the museum. If you go around the holidays, don’t forget to ask about the extended holiday hours.
Chihuly Garden and Glass
The artworks that you might see in Seattle are not limited to the art museum. Dale Chihuly is a world-famous, incredibly talented creator of masterpieces sculpted from glass. His style is truly unique, and to see his garden of glass at Seattle Center is an amazing experience. If you have a chance to schedule a visit to this long-term exhibition, you certainly won’t regret taking the time to do so.
Woodland Park Zoo
The Woodland Park Zoo is dedicated to animals in a wide range of ways. It supports conservation efforts both at the zoo and in the field, and the zoo even has an animal enrichment program. The variety of animals at this zoo is ample, and the list of mammals include the Arctic fox, the Malayan tiger, the red-ruffed lemur, the hippopotamus, the giraffe, and the porcupine. You may also view other creatures at the zoo, such as reptiles, amphibians, birds, and invertebrates.

Seattle’s was the origin of farmers market. Pike market is the city’s center for veg fresh, local products, crafts, specialty foods, small independent restaurants, theaters, fancy stores, more stores are available. I remember going there, along with my family on a vacation, and this was my chance to take my friends. It is a whole different place than it was 5 years ago. I feel very blessed for the pike market. Art museum is a wonderful night spent at the Seattle art museum, becoming a city which is growing with improvements and always experiment new things. Woodland park zoo is one of famous in the Seattle city so my suggestion for everyone is to visit that mind blowing place.
